A classic ensemble

One of my absolute favourite outfit ensembles is a blazer with a white shirt and a pair of jeans, you really can’t go too far wrong with it. Plus it’s classy and can be easily dressed up or down!

This blazer is new from H&M (available here) and I fell in love with it not just because of it’s lovely stripes in navy and maroon, or its double breasted buttons (ok, I love them too), but mainly because of its versatility. I really felt I could wear it in so many ways. The best bit is H&M have 20% off for Black Friday so you can save on it too.

I couldn’t help myself with the matching trousers too (which I’m sure I’ll be covering on a blog soon), it’s a great suit option for work attire with a shirt or classic jumper, with loafers or pumps.

The Blazer will also work over a party dress, or done up and worn on it’s own with the trousers, heels and some statement earrings. If you’re not feeling so daring, then a black cami under the jacket will work perfectly too.

Then of course there’s the option to style it how I have here. A great on-trend option.

I have also included a photo of the back of this Zara shirt (available here), another classic staple with a twist – those kind of items that I love. The circle on the back reminds me of the buckle that has been key this season, for example, on JW Anderson and Chloé bags. Plus, it has a lovely oversized shape and unusual collar.

The H&M jeans are a girlfriend fit (available in store only at the minute), a fit I am also a fan of and are more flattering than the fitted skinny jean. Not forgetting the mules (yup, the mule obsession continues) on my feet – I have these in grey too. They’re from Topshop (available here and with a black Friday discount too), comfy and practical for the winter and a real gem if you’re addicted to heels, but allergic to plasters. True story.

Happy shopping this Black Weekend too – I was very excited that the asos, Topshop and H&M Black Friday discounts are on all weekend, can’t wait to share my purchases with you!

Enjoy your weekends,

Lucy xx
