Trench coat of dreams

So, without purpose, I mentioned to my mum that I had fallen for a trench coat in Warehouse because it was the most amazing shade of khaki. Whilst she’s super thoughtful, she does a lot of running around for others and I never thought it would be information she’d retain for longer than a minute, but look what I got for Christmas!!

One big wooooohoooo from me! I really do love Warehouse’s coats at the moment, and a lot of them have gone in the sale so be sure to check them out (here)!!

This trench (available here), in particular, is one of my favourite of their coats, its striking shade khaki in such a classic style, makes it the same same, but different, if you know what I mean?! A trench coat with that je ne sais quoi vibe… ‘cept I know what that difference is – the green adds a great additional quality!¬†Plus the material is really lovely and it could be worn in all seasons because it’s lightweight.

I teamed it with this chic wish, which has been adorned by so many bloggers and has a fantastic list in the back – find it here!

I also teamed it with the comfiest of black tuxedo trouser – just check out the tuxedo style waist band (available here), a pair of Zara black boots (now sold out) but a general black ankle boot always ticks the box if you ask me!

Not forgetting the super cosy bobble hat from Topshop, similar available here.

Lastly, but by no means least, it brings together one of my favourite colour combos – hello khaki, cream and black!

On a side note, this photo was taken in the beautiful Montmarte district of Paris where we spent New Year’s Eve (during the day), and a Parisian travel diary (including all of my favourite Parisian eateries)¬†will follow soon!
